Mackenson Jeanfrancois is the founder and head chef of MartheAndSon Catering. Growing up on a family farm, he developed a passion for cooking at a young age under the guidance of his grandmother and mother. He studied at Le Cordon Bleu and graduated in 2013, gaining years of professional culinary experience in Haitian and American cuisine. Mackenson specializes in creating flavorful, fresh, and culturally inspired dishes while bringing a personal, family-style touch to every event he caters. His commitment to quality, creativity, and honoring his family’s culinary legacy makes every meal memorable.
Additional Experience: In 2015, Mackenson cooked at the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA), creating Haitian-inspired dishes including plantain cups. During this event, he collaborated with renowned chef Jasper Write, showcasing his creativity and expertise in Haitian cuisine to a wider audience.
